A Luxury Villa designed for a non-resident Indian client who wanted to make the shift back to the country with his family made for a spacious three storey villa on the coast of the Uthandi beach.

The Villa was designed in a way that the core functions of the house were all moved to the upper floors so that the ground could be freed for outdoor activities and a clear view of the beach. The public functions of the house which included the living spaces, dining area, guest bedroom, kitchen, bar, deck and pool were all situated on the first floor as one moved up a ramp winding over a green mound of earth to enter the house. This became the heart of the activities of the house which overlooked the beach with ample views from all the spaces. The second floor housed the bedrooms which would be used regularly by the residents and a gym as well which together formed the private part of the house's layout. A courtyard ties the upper and lower floors together to create a necessary connection between the two areas.
The house boasts of a modern feel with large projections and balconies with louvered shades to regulate the glare of the sunlight that reflects off the sea. The roofs across the house are designed to seem like they float over the walls creating a vivid connection with the sky.
