The Office with two halves was designed for a young IT company called ‘Wishtree’ with clients scattered across the globe. The Company has two branches with two managing partners, one in Ahmedabad and the other in Pune.

Reminiscent of the name, the office was designed in a way that it was divided into two starkly different spatial experiences which are also defined by two separate colours. The first half comprises of a large open work space with work stations, a sit-out niches and a welcoming waiting area. The openness of this area is exaggerated with diagonally oriented lights that spread across the work stations and terminate at the large windows which open onto the city-scape beyond. The other half houses all the closed spaces defined by partitions and cubicles for privacy that are all in blue. Little seating work-niches were carved out of the partitions to create a subtle transition from the large open spaces into the closed ones.
Graphics with pure forms have been used on the plain grey walls to add a bold character to the space in continuation with the Modern language of the design. The two halves divide the office organizationally as well as functionally and the two stark colours create a unique ambiance for the experience of working within the space.
