This two-storeyed existing villa was renovated to accommodate the needs of the residents with a goal of maximizing natural light, ventilation and a connection to the vegetation outside with minimal damage to the original structure.

The bungalow is a first home for its owners, now re-envisioned with a play of materials and details to create an earthy, yet modern aesthetic to match the evolving needs of our clients.
Spatial re-organisation was done to enhance ventilation, and weather shading techniques were created to keep the interiors cool and withstand rain. Small interventions like an added amphitheatre, a custom pergola over the entrance, projecting window frames & an overhanging planter from the balcony are done to add a layer of greenery to the house.

The entrance features a small, integrated amphitheater designed for social gatherings, acting as a focal point that links various indoor and outdoor living spaces.
