A glamping resort was designed for a middle-aged gentlemen and his hiking and nature enthusiasts with a vision to create an oasis within farmlands near the mountain. It would accommodate some simple functions for the visitors to be able to relax and enjoy within its natural surroundings.

The region being rich and diverse in flora and Fauna, invites large numbers of nature enthusiasts. The site sharing its boundaries with the forest reserve, the brief was to design a campus to house 7 independent cottages, dormitories and common facilities for ornithologists and other nature enthusiasts Spatially, all the cottages are north-south oriented, the south lean to the roof, protecting from the harsh sun and double volume on the north looking into the forest reserve. The common facilities are housed in the heart of the site opening up to the hills. The gazebo, placed at the centre of the campus is the common dining space for the entire campus. It begins with an Amphitheater opening towards the Pavagadh hills at its front and ends with the kitchen at its back.

Materially, a conscious choice of using bamboo and stone for the structure and earth for the infill was made as a response to the ecological sensitivity of the zone, also owing to its proximate availability. Bamboo and earth here are used in varied forms, employing its properties to its fullest means. The cantilevered trusses tied together in a complete circle with solid bent solid bamboo forms the structure of the gazebo, while the units use a simplified raftered system in bamboo. Fired earth planks and wattle daub form the enclosure of the structure.
