This Salon was designed for a young lady entrepreneur as a larger venture to her previous setup in another part of the city. The salon was spread out across a narrow and long shop within an existing commercial complex.
The shape of the premise offered a unique challenge in addition to the already dense set of requirements from the client. The layout of the salon is divided into two parts: One part for the private cabins which encloses the necessary services and the other part is open with various functions layered with mirroring curves. The open part is divided by furniture elements and metal members that help organise the equipment and segregate activities without actually becoming visual barriers.
The primarily off-white coloured spaces are defined by the light blue coloured furniture and earthy stucco colour place holders that are strategically positioned to cater to their corresponding function.

The curves were introduced into the space to create a sense of fluidity and also to generate a playful spatial experience. Metal elements and warm colours in unison with the lights added a sense of calmness to the space for the customers.
