A 4-BHK Apartment with an attached servant quarter was designed for a family of five members with bright Yellow tones tying the house together creating bright spaces throught the house.

The family comprised of two daughters on the cusp of marriage and a son looking to start his career along with their parents. An active social life and a constant influx of visitors to the house drove the majority of decisions within the project.
The apartment is planned with an open kitchen and adjacent dining which connect to the living and drawing space; together they create the public core of the house. The furniture in these spaces was designed to keep area free for gatherings but also adjustable to its use within multiple spaces. The Jhula with its rotating back allowed a response to the formal and the informal living space as required by the inmates. Each bedroom was customized to the taste of its user with furniture elements and colours that complemented the bright theme of the house.

The furniture was articulated with dark and light shades of wooden veneer to create a contrast with the white walls which gave a classic modern feel to the house with some careful attention to details as metal elements seamlessly blend in with the furniture.
